finally I stitched something new that I like!

since the exhibition however, my mood is fairly grim for some reason.  Still, I can use it as inspiration I guess....

the open house exhibition went well, though its pretty tiring really, but I sold some pieces of work which is very nice and encouraging too.

I suddenly had an urge to
sew this onto an old envelope.
It's harder than it looks!  I need
   to figure out what needle I should
   be using as it kept breaking!  But I
   rather like it.

Ive sold some pieces at the Open House which is great news and very encouraging.  I am also looking at doing an MA in gender and media at Sussex Uni, as its a subject that interests me hugely and also will help inform my work. 

In the meantime, I am preparing more work for the Brighton Art Fair in October and this is the start of some new work based on some of Andy Warhol's images.  If anyone is out there listening, watch this space for more!
